Not dependably. Deleted and reformatted drives usually still hold recoverable data, and a wipe that was interrupted or run on a failing drive can leave data fully intact. For any drive leaving your control, physical destruction is the only method that removes the risk outright, and it is what a certificate of destruction documents.

Every job is carried out to a defined particle size and closed with a certificate of destruction, with serial-level itemization available so each drive is accounted for individually.
