FAQ

Frequently asked.

For businesses we usually come to you: on-site mobile shredding destroys drives at your location, or we collect them under chain of custody. Drop-off can be arranged in served metros. Tell us your city on the request a quote form and we will confirm the options near you.

Yes. Our mobile service shreds hard drives and SSDs at your premises so no intact drive ever leaves your control, which is the most defensible option for regulated data. Larger volumes can also be collected and destroyed off site under a documented chain of custody. Both close with a certificate.

Yes. Alongside hard drives we destroy SSDs, servers, backup tapes, USB drives, optical media, and whole devices like laptops and phones, so any data-bearing item is covered, not just spinning disks. Everything is itemized and certified the same way, on one certificate of destruction.

Not dependably. Deleted and reformatted drives usually still hold recoverable data, and a wipe that was interrupted or run on a failing drive can leave data fully intact. For any drive leaving your control, physical destruction is the only method that removes the risk outright, and it is what a certificate of destruction documents.

Every job is carried out to a defined particle size and closed with a certificate of destruction, with serial-level itemization available so each drive is accounted for individually. That certificate, plus chain-of-custody records on request, is your audit evidence: proof the destruction happened, to standard, not just a claim.

Timing depends on volume and whether you need on-site or off-site service, and we schedule most jobs quickly rather than to a fixed turnaround. Urgent decommissions can be prioritized. Send the drive count and your city on the quote form and we will confirm the soonest slot.
