Product & inventory destruction.
Product destruction for excess, defective, recalled, and branded goods, destroyed confidentially so they never resurface or reach the grey market. Certified on every job.
Secure, simple, and certified.
Product destruction is the controlled destruction of goods a business cannot sell but must keep off the market: overstock, recalls, failed QC, returns, and branded merchandise. Destroying them, rather than dumping or liquidating them, prevents counterfeits, grey-market resale, and brand damage. Shreddee destroys product on site or off site, under supervision, with a certificate of destruction on every job.
When product cannot reach the market, it cannot be allowed to leak out the back door either. Overstock, recalls, failed QC, returns, and discontinued lines all carry the same risk: counterfeits, grey-market resale, liability, and a brand story you do not control. We destroy the goods beyond reconstruction, witnessed and documented, so the only record is your certificate of destruction.
Whole pallets or single high-value items, on site under your supervision or at our secured facility. Nothing is photographed, resold, or talked about. For high-value or recoverable goods, pair this with secure transport and recovery.

Product & Inventory Destruction, explained.
What is product destruction?
Product destruction is the deliberate, documented destruction of physical goods so they cannot be sold, used, or recovered. It covers finished product, components, packaging, and anything carrying a brand, and it is used when disposal or resale would create risk rather than value.
It is a different problem from recycling or clearance: the goal is not to extract value, it is to guarantee the item never re-enters the market. That guarantee is what the certificate of destruction records.
Why not just throw it away, donate, or liquidate it?
Because unsecured disposal is exactly how product leaks. Skips get picked, liquidation lots get re-sold, and donated goods reappear online, still carrying your brand and, with recalls or failed QC, your liability. Counterfeiters also buy genuine discards to mix with fakes.
Controlled destruction closes those routes. The product is rendered unusable under supervision, so there is nothing left to resell, photograph, or trace back to you.
What products do you destroy?
Overstock and discontinued lines, defective and recalled goods, returns and damaged stock, samples and prototypes, and branded or logo merchandise including uniforms and apparel. We handle whole pallets or single high-value items.
For goods that contain data or electronics, we pair product destruction with hard drive and data destruction so the device and its data are both handled correctly.
How does the process work, on site or off site?
On site, product is destroyed at your location under your supervision, so nothing leaves intact. Off site, it is collected under a documented chain of custody and destroyed at our secured facility.
Nothing is photographed, resold, or talked about. Every job is witnessed and closes with a certificate of destruction.
How do I prove the product was destroyed?
Every job ends with a certificate of destruction recording what was destroyed, when, how, and by whom, which is the evidence auditors, brand-protection teams, and regulators ask for.
For recalls and regulated goods, itemized records and chain-of-custody documentation are available so each lot is accounted for.
What does product destruction cost?
It is quoted per job, based on volume, the type of goods, and whether you need on-site or off-site destruction, rather than a published per-item rate. A single pallet of overstock and a multi-truck recall are very different jobs.

Product & Inventory Destruction questions.
Yes. Branded and logo goods, uniforms, apparel, and samples are destroyed so the mark can never be worn, resold, or counterfeited. This is one of the most common reasons brands use destruction rather than donation, since donated branded stock often reappears for sale. Every job is certified.
Yes. Recalled, defective, and failed-QC goods are destroyed under supervision with itemized records and a certificate of destruction, which is the documented proof a recall or audit requires. Chain-of-custody records are available so each lot is accounted for from collection to destruction.
The product is rendered unusable under witnessed conditions, on site or under a documented chain of custody, so there is no intact item left to liquidate, donate, or copy. Nothing is photographed or resold. That is the difference between destruction and ordinary disposal.
Yes. On-site destruction handles product at your warehouse or facility under your supervision, so nothing leaves intact, which suits sensitive or high-value stock. Larger or recurring volumes can also be collected and destroyed off site. Tell us the volume and location on the quote form.
Yes. When product contains drives, chips, or stored data, we combine it with hard drive and data destruction so the device and its data are both destroyed to standard. Prototypes and pre-release hardware are handled this way too, and everything is itemized and certified.
