Document Destruction FAQs.
The questions we hear most. Still unsure? Just ask us.
Frequently asked.
For businesses we bring the shredding to you: on-site mobile shredding at your premises, or secure collection under a documented chain of custody. That is more secure than a retail drop-off for confidential records. Tell us your city on the quote form and we will confirm service near you.
Yes. Our mobile service shreds at your location so nothing leaves the building intact, and you can witness it. It is the most defensible option for privileged or highly sensitive files. Larger or routine volumes can also be collected and destroyed off site, both certified.
Community shred events and office shredders suit a few personal pages, but they offer no chain of custody, no supervision, and no per-job certificate. For business records carrying legal, financial, or medical data, that documentation is exactly what an audit needs, which is what a certificate of destruction provides.
It is quoted per job, based on volume, on-site versus off-site service, and whether it is a one-time purge or recurring, rather than a flat published rate. A few boxes and a full archive clear-out are different jobs. Send the volume and your city on the quote form for a fixed price.
Yes. We handle one-time purges and clear-outs, end-of-retention archive destruction, and scheduled recurring shredding. Each job, one-off or ongoing, is witnessed on request and closes with a certificate of destruction, so the paperwork is consistent either way.
